Who we work with

The counterparties

A serious buyer buys for himself the same scrutiny he asks of the company he is buying. We appoint four counterparties, for the group and for each transaction, and we keep their roles separate: the people who do the bookkeeping are not the people who certify the accounts, and the people who advise us on a purchase are not the people who audit us.

• Lawyer: prepares and negotiates the contracts of each purchase, and looks after the group’s standing legal matters.
• Certified accountant: keeps the group’s books and answers for its filing obligations.
• Statutory auditor: certifies the accounts, and is not the person who prepares them.
• Bank: where the group holds its accounts and through which the payments for each transaction run.

We are closing these appointments. We will publish the name of each firm here as soon as it is appointed and as soon as it has given us its agreement in writing to be named. Until that happens this page stays without names, and that is deliberate: the consent belongs to those who give it, and not to us.
